About Hole IO

Hole IO is a unique combination of arcade and puzzle games that was released in 2018.

The game takes place in a city, so the map includes many apartment buildings, complexes, parking lots, roads, etc., and many other areas usually associated with urban ambiance. The surroundings are familiar to anyone who lives in a big city, so it’s pretty easy to navigate the Hole IO world.

Your task is to take control of your black hole and swallow everything in your way. Keep a watch on the opponents’ size. They can devour you if they are bigger than you.

Features:

There are three game modes: Classic (2-minutes of playing time ), Battle (you have to be the last one to survive), and Solo (eat as much as you can in 2 minutes).

The graphics are eye-catching and colorful, but there is no music. Many players hope that the developer can add some audio during the playing time.

Tips and tricks:

It is possible to get larger objects and buildings to fall in even if your hole is not big enough: the trick is to go under one of the edges of the object, then move slowly towards its other end, gradually eating the rest.

It may be more important to consume more small stuff than a few big structures. However, it is a bit risky if you underestimate the size of an object.

How to play

The gameplay is quite easy to get into. All you need to do is move the hole around the city area and collect objects. Start with consuming small things, move on to cars, and ultimately to large buildings. You can also eat other black holes that are smaller than you.

So don’t get discouraged if you don’t win right away: once you’ve familiarised yourself with the level and the mechanics, you will become the master of Hole. IO in no time!
